Sandra A. Gardiner serves as Chief Financial Officer for Lipid Sciences. In January 2003 she was appointed to the newly-created position of Chief Accounting Officer. Ms. Gardiner joined the company in 2001 as Vice President, Controller and Corporate Secretary. Prior to that she spent eight years as Controller and Director of Administration of Cardima, Inc., a publicly-traded medical device manufacturer. Previous affiliations included Comac, Inc, as Corporate Controller and Advanced Cardiovascular Systems as Senior Accountant.

Ms. Gardiner received her BA in Management Economics from UC Davis.
